The University College of Cork is located in the city of Cork, Ireland and was established first in 1845. The university is one of Ireland’s leading research institutes, with one of the highest research income in the state. It promotes excellence in research and high-quality academic results. 

Between the period of 2005 to 2006 the University of Cork underwent a restructuring and established 5 faculties: Arts, Celtic Studies and Social Science, Business and Law, Medicine and Health, and Science, Engineering and Food Science. Today, the university offers a wide range of academic programmes on bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral level and partners with other universities in offering short-term trainings on digital skills.
