Since 1920, the Stifterverband für die Deutsche Wissenschaft (Association for the Promotion of German Science and Humanities) acts as the industry’s joint initiative for supporting research and higher education in Germany.
It forges bonds between universities and non-academic research institutions, links science and industry and encourages the creation of a single European education and research area.
The association has approximately 3,000 members, including DAX companies, mid-size companies, company associations, donors and active private individuals.
