The #hackAD ‘Social Hackademy’ is a European project focusing on fostering digital skills and competences of young people from disadvantaged backgrounds through the implementation of collaborative educational activities based on the Social Hackademy co-creation methodology.

In 4 European countries (Italy, Greece, Croatia and France), project partners will establish Social Hackademy Labs and, through an in-depth blended training course of 100 hours, train a total of 120 young people aged 16-29 from disadvantaged background on three topics: Native Mobile App Development, Web Design and Visual and Graphic Design.

As part of the learning path, a Social Hackathon will be organised in each country, during which the young participants will have the opportunity to put in practice the acquired competences together with representatives of civil society organisations that need to develop digital solutions to societal challenges linked to one or more of the 17 UN Goals for Sustainable Development.
