The Manufacturing Academy of Denmark (MADE) is the Danish national initiative for research, innovation and education within advanced manufacturing. The aim of the organisation is to bring together stakeholders from the public and private sector in sustainable partnerships, promote Denmark’s reputation as a global leader in the advanced manufacturing field, and supports research and development (R&D) and innovation in the context of the digital transformation.

MADE was launched as an independent association in 2014 by stakeholders from Danish companies and industries, universities, research and technology organisations (RTOs) and associations. Funded through both public and private means, today the organisation encompasses more than 220 member companies, 5 universities, 3 RTOs and 8 educational institutions. MADE supports and strengthens the manufacturing industry in Denmark through the implementation of state-of-the-art manufacturing technology via applied industrial research projects and a range of various innovation activities and educational initiatives.

MADE is a European Digital Innovation Hub (DIH) and thereby part of a large network of DIHs across Europe. The Digital Innovation Hubs (DIHs) are one-stop-shops that help companies to become more competitive regarding their business and production processes, products or services using digital technologies.

As a DIH, MADE helps Danish companies finding project, funding and/or collaboration opportunities and partners internationally.
