The Lifelong Learning Platform is an initiative which brings together 42 European organisations who are currently active in the fields of education, training and youth. Currently, these networks represent over 50000 educational institutions and associations covering all sectors of formal, non-formal and informal learning.

The Platform aims to raise European citizens’ concerns about lifelong learning. The belief is that no one should be left out and that by creating bridges across sectors, increases access to qualty education for all Europeans and beyond. Learning should not be limited to formal education, it also integrates non-formal and informal learning. By bringing together stakeholders from all sectors of education and training, the Lifelong Learning Platform creates an environment to exchange innovative practices across Europe. This contributes to increased flexibility between systems and proposes concrete solutions to make lifelong learning a reality for all peoples.
