KK-stiftelsen is a non-for-profit foundation in Stockholm, Sweden. 

Established in 1994, the KK-stiftelsen foundation is responsible for funding and coordinating programmes on research and competence development in university colleges in Sweden, as well as new universities. The aim of the foundation is to strengthen Sweden’s competitiveness and enhance the availability of projects and initiatives, which bring together various partners.

The foundation provides funding only when activities and initiatives are conducted on the basis of cross-sectoral cooperation – involving stakeholders throughout academia and industry is essential to the foundation’s goal. KK-stiftelsen launches various upskilling actions with the aim of building an internationally competitive research, education and industrial business environment in Sweden – and beyond.
