Internet Society is a global non-profit organisation, whose mission is to promote the role of the Internet as a ‘force for good’ and encourage people throughout the world to use it in a responsible and safe way, and gain valuable digital skills for life and work.

The organisation offers training on digital skills and a user-friendly learning environment, Learning @ Internet Society, where learners can develop their skills across a variety of disciplines. The learning courses offered are both instructor-led and self-paced, aiming to prepare the new generation of Internet leaders and empower people to integrate digital technologies within their daily lives with confidence.

Founded in 1992, the organisation has supported global Internet education, improving access to information and training for people throughout the world. From 2013 to 2020, more than 100,000 learners were trained. Internet Society Learning also engages a variety of stakeholders through a global community of internet shapers.
