European Schoolnet is a network of 32 Ministries of Education (MoEs) from across Europe, leading educational innovation at European level. European Schoolnet (EUN) operates key European services in the area of innovation in education on behalf of member Ministries of Education, the European Commission and industry partners.
European Schoolnet works across several strategic priorities to achieve its objectives:
- Providing concrete evidence and data about innovation in education on which to base policy recommendations.
- Supporting schools and teachers in their teaching practices.
- Developing and sustaining a network of schools engaged in innovative teaching and learning approaches.
The not-for-profit network brings together education policy and practice through exchange and collaboration between its stakeholders on local, regional, national and EU level. European Schoolnet supports education stakeholders in Europe when it comes to the digital transformation of their processes and promotes the increased development and use of digital technologies for teaching and learning. It also identifies and tests promising innovative practices in education. The organisation offers a variety of Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) for teachers, educators, parents and all citizens through its platform European Schoolnet Academy.
