The European Association for the Education of Adults (EAEA) represents the voice of European organisations directly involved in adult education. The EAEA has 120 member organisations in 43 countries, subsequently representing more than 60 million learners across Europe.

EAEA’s main goal is to promote adult learning, and increase access to and participation in non-formal adult education, particularly for groups currently under-represented. Through their work, they advocate for the best policies regarding adult education and lifelong learning, working with EU and international institutions to do so. They also seek to inform learners and policymakers with resources and publications, and provide members with a community that enables cooperation.
