The Association of e-Learning Suppliers (Apel) was founded in December 2001 as a non-profit association by a group of companies concerned to publicise the benefits of teletraining to improve the competitiveness of businesses and the service of citizens in public institutions.
Apel has the main e-learning organisations in Spain, among providers of content, platforms, services and e-learning consultancy and has become the reference point for the sector vis-à-vis public administrations and other national and foreign bodies interested in the Spanish market.
