The European Cybersecurity Organisation (ECSO) is a non-profit organisation responsible for public-private partnerships in the field of cybersecurity, in cooperation with the European Commission.

The ECSO mission is to organise and contribute to the development of the European cybersecurity ecosystem by enabling businesses, universities, public and private actors to fully benefit from the progress made by the digital transformation. In this way, the ECSO also supports the safety and security of the EU’s Digital Single Market and ensures Europe’s leadership and competitiveness at international level.

The ECSO represents and coordinates a wide range of public and private stakeholders, including larger corporations, SMEs, start-ups and operators of essential services, associations, research centres, academia or clusters. In addition, the organisation provides the same services to regional and national public institutions and administrations in all EU Member States, countries associated to the European Free Trade Association (EFTA) and countries associated to Horizon 2020.
