The POLREC Training Open call, funded by the Single Market Programme, focuses on SMEs from the plastic, rubber, and composites industries to improve their staff’s skills through polymer recycling training, including digitalisation of processes. The overall aim is to foster the adoption of polymer recycling methods by SMEs, reduce their CO2 emissions, and increase collaboration with other European SMEs.

Areas

Applicants have the opportunity to select up to two out of three distinct categories of training programs tailored to their specific needs:

  • Adoption of innovative recycling methods

  • Adoption of digital processes

  • Specific technical profiles related to polymer recycling

Eligibility Criteria

  • The only eligible entities are SMEs

  • Eligible countries are EU Member States and countries participating in the SMP Work Program/COSME strand

  • Only applications by single applicants are allowed

  • The total financial contribution to individual beneficiaries from the different POLREC Open Calls cannot exceed the limit of € 60 000 per beneficiary

Funding

  • Total Budget: up to 105.000 EUR

  • Amount per project: up to 1.460 EUR

  • Number of funded project proposals: up to 72 projects

The deadline to submit applications is set to 31 August 2024 12:00 CET, Brussels time.
