Cyber accelerator is a 6-month accelerator program for companies operating in the cybersecurity field, starting in April 2024 and running for 6 months. The program caters to early-stage cybersecurity startups and spin-off companies, offering assistance in product and business development.

Student teams, researchers, startup entrepreneurs, and SME (small and medium-sized enterprises) spin-off teams are welcome to join the accelerator. The aim of the Cyber Accelerator programme is to support and develop 15 startups within two years.

The business ideas of accelerator participants must align with one of two core missions: providing state-of-the-art cybersecurity solutions for the private sector, particularly targeting SMEs; or safeguarding the cybersecurity of new technologies (AI, space tech, datafication, digital trust, etc.).

To apply, the following requirements must be met:

  • Scalable business idea focused on cybersecurity
  • Competent team with the necessary skills
  • Minimum viable product (MVP) or the ability to develop one during the accelerator program
  • Registered company in Estonia (e-residents and startup visa owners are also eligible)

Start-ups registered in Estonia can submit applications online on F6S Portal. Each team selected to the accelerator receives a €48,000 grant to develop their idea, with no need for co-funding.

Applications submitted by start-ups are evaluated by the Tehnopol Startup Incubator Estonia and the Estonian Information System Authority (fulfilling the role of National Coordination Centre of Estonia).

The application round closes on March 22nd.
