People with disabilities often struggle to find jobs because they may not have the digital skills needed or access to tools that help them work. How can we help them get better jobs by teaching them these skills and providing the right tools?

The European Disability Forum, with the support of Google.org, organised the conference “Technology in employment – A step towards inclusion” which will take place on 11 May 2024 in Ljubljana, Slovenia. At the conference, the results from the DATA project will be shared, a study by the European Disability Forum (EDF) supported by Google.org. The study aimed to explore the situation of persons with disabilities in the open labour market, focusing in particular on the potential of digital skills training and the use of accessible and assistive technologies to foster inclusion in the workplace.
