The theme of the 2023 EDEN Annual Conference is “Yes we can!” – Digital Education for Better Futures. Organised by EDEN Digital Learning Europe and hosted by Dublin City University, the conference will spotlight the re imagination of teaching, learning and assessment. Using the language of opportunity and challenges, the event will focus on dreaming big to create a better future for all.

The conference will ask:

  • What does a better future look like?
  • How can digital education contribute to this future?
  • What can you do to help make and shape a better future?

Programme of the conference

The three-day conference programme includes a PhD Symposium, keynote speeches, breakout sessions, panel discussions, workshops – as well as social events. Conference paper submissions

Based on the overarching theme of “Yes we can”, the conference put a call for paper submissions on the topics of:

  • Transformative Education
  • Future Pedagogies
  • Next Generation Teachers and Learners
  • Digital Citizenship for Sustainable Futures
  • Research Designs for Uncertain times

PhD Symposium

Within the EDEN Annual Conference is organised the EDEN 2023 Doctoral Symposium on June 18, 2023. Led by Dublin City University, the aim of the symposium is to create a community for exchange of experience and knowledge between e-learning doctoral students, as well as offer an opportunity to give and provide feedback on research topics with both peers and international e-learning experts.
