On 24 May 2023, the Advisory Board for Por Talento Digital was set up as an initiative led by the ONCE Foundation aimed at acquiring technological and digital skills for people with disabilities in order to promote their inclusion in occupations with high demand on the labour market, thereby multiplying their career prospects.

The Advisory Board  is composed of more than 20 companies and entities, including AMETIC, and it collaborates in mapping the way forward, providing ideas and strategic information from different sectors, assessing trends, defining educational programmes and, ultimately, as far as possible, relevant for the programme to generate the greatest possible impact.

It is also intended to be a meeting point where to discuss the main purpose of the programme: positioning the talent of people with disabilities in digital and technological employment.

In his intervention, Rosa García, President of the CCXTD, thanked the members of the Board for their participation and encouraged them to promote external knowledge of the initiative so that beneficiaries can have a job opportunity. She also stressed the need for business representatives to reflect on the areas of training needed to achieve the full inclusion of people with disabilities.

Alberto Durán, Executive Vice-President of Fundación ONCE, announced the opening of new centres in different Spanish cities to provide more in-person training.
