For the fourth consecutive year, groups of students and teachers from schools in Greece and Cyprus participated in the Competition creating imaginative board and digital games. The number of participants this year has skyrocketed: we received 148 completed games, of which 104 board games and 44 digital games. Overall, we had a 130% increase in submissions compared to last year, where 64 games (48 board games and 16 digital games) had participated. Impressive was this year and the entry of schools in Cyprus with 42 participations from schools of all levels.

The enthusiastic participation of the school community shows once again that miracles can be done in school when there is motivation, cooperation and collective effort and of course that the lesson can be (and) play!

Based on the evaluation criteria (originality of the idea of the game, perfection in design and implementation, educational dimension and compatibility with the learning content, combination of fun and learning, active participation of students in all stages of creation, depending on their specific characteristics and the level of education) EKOME is pleased to announce the results (awards and references) ofthe Jury for the 4th International Student Table and Digital Game Creation Competition “The lesson… game!”, for the school year 2023-2024.

Warm congratulations to the teams of the schools that were awarded and to all the groups of students and teachers who participated, for the passion, creativity, inspiration, spare time and soul they dedicated!
