The first experience realised allowed the introduction of opportunities and constraints related to its role as a governance actor of the OGPIT Community responsible for the promotion and monitoring in support of open government policies in Italy. This has led, therefore, to a revision of the initially co-created text of the Regulation which, following a dedicated public consultation on the platform, now contains, in the updated version, new rules aimed at ensuring greater effectiveness for the action of the FGA. The 2022-2023 Mandate Report produced at the end of this first important operational experience of an open government multistakeholder forum, recognised as best practice at the level of the global PMO partnership, illustrates the process of co-creation of the Forum, its composition, the activities carried out during the mandate, the evaluation of the outcomes of the 5NAP, as well as the contents of the proposals addressed to the political level. Finally, the FGA considered it important to share suggestions and prospects for future activities addressed to the organisations that will manage the next mandate, with the aim of giving continuity and strength to the action to promote openness policies both at national and territorial level.
