The submission of online applications for participation in the new online training program entitled “Women in Tech (2nd Cycle)” starts today Friday, September 13th at 14:00 and ends on Wednesday, September 18th at 23:59. Artificial Intelligence (AI), Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) and Skills Development for Professional Development”, with a total duration of 100 hours, for 500 unemployed women. The action is implemented in the framework of the DYPA – HUAWEI cooperation to upskill the workforce and reduce the digital divide in the labour market.
In particular, 500 unemployed women aged 25-50, graduates of secondary, post-secondary or tertiary education of any specialty, with knowledge of English (level B2), will benefit, in accordance with the conditions for participation of the call for expressions of interest, which will be posted on the DYPA website https://www.dypa.gov.gr/.
The programme concerns the provision of training in the modules: a) Basic Information and Communication Technology (ICT) skills and b) Soft Skills. Upon completion of the program, the beneficiaries will have acquired basic knowledge and skills in data processing, statistical analysis and interpretation, decision-making, understanding artificial intelligence, applications and its impact on the modern working environment, strengthening communication skills and cultivating strong professional relationships.
The program will be implemented through a modern training platform, while upon completion of each module all beneficiaries will have the right to take exams that will attest their level of knowledge. Upon successful completion of the program, trainees will receive a certificate of attendance.
Applications will be submitted exclusively online via gov.gr
Specifically, the route is: gov.gr → Education → Digital Skills → Free vocational training program “Women in tech”.
After the completion of the submission of the applications, their evaluation will follow and then an informative email will be sent by DYPA to the beneficiaries regarding their final selection in the program as well as detailed instructions on the registration and monitoring procedures.
DYPA continues its partnerships with global technology companies to upgrade the skills of the country’s workforce, with a focus on digital skills in high demand in the labour market. The new action emphasizes the access of unemployed women to information and communication technologies, enhancing their employability in prospective specializations.
