The 2nd Call for Tenders for the European Digital Skills Certificate (EDSC) Feasibility Study has been published in the eTendering Official Journal of the European Union.
The publication of the Call follows the European Commission’s decision to re-launch the feasibility study on EDSC in support of the Action 9 of its Digital Education Action Plan (2021-2027), with the aim to map and analyse the Digital competence development and skills certification landscape in the EU, define the purpose and the scope of a pilot of the EDSC and many other objectives.
The EDSC will allow people to indicate their level of digital competence corresponding to the DigComp proficiency levels – that is Foundation, Intermediate, Advanced and Highly Specialised levels – and will encourage people to acquire new digital skills covering all these levels. If you want to find out more on these levels, check out the DigComp 2.1 Report.
