Every October, the European Cybersecurity Month (ECSM) helps raise awareness about online threats and the importance of digital safety. Organized by European Union Agency for Cybersecurity (ENISA), the campaign includes hundreds of activities take place across Europe including conferences, workshops, trainings, webinars, presentations and more.

The 2024 edition of European Cybersecurity Month, under the theme #ThinkB4UClick, focuses on protecting against social engineering. This rising trend involves scammers using tricks like impersonation, phishing emails, or fake offers to get people to share personal information or take risky online actions. The campaign aims to boost cybersecurity awareness among individuals and organizations by sharing tips, good practices, and offering engaging activities to stay safe online.

ECSM 2024 is not just a campaign, it’s an interactive journey: during October webinars, virtual workshops, and online forums featuring cybersecurity experts, will serve as platforms for knowledge exchange and for participants to learn from cybersecurity experts.

The Cybersecurity Skills Academy
Cyber Skills Academy is a European policy initiative, part of the 2023 European Year of Skills, that aims to bring together and improve the coordination of existing cyber skills initiatives in order to close the cyber security talent gap, strengthen the EU cyber workforce and boost EU competitiveness, growth and resilience.
