First established back in 2013, the DNS.PT Association is a private non-profit association, which in its current form, brings together several key actors in Portugal as its members: the FCT, IP (Foundation for Science and Technology), the Digital Economy Association (ACEPI) and the Portuguese Association for Consumer Protection (DECO).

Behind the association is a commitment to create additional links and connection points between Portugal and the rest of Europe (and the world). The association’s aim is to reinforce the digital ecosystem in Portugal, and bring added value to its audiences – whether this is consumers, partners, or collaborators. DNS.PT also offers high levels of quality, reliability, and security, supporting organisations to register .pt domain names.
