The Productivity Centre (CPC) was founded in 1963 by the Cyprus Government, with the help of the United Nations Development Program and the International Labor Office. The relevant agreement expired on November 30, 1974, and since then the Government has taken over its operation entirely. CPC is a department of the Ministry of Labour and Social Insurance.
The original long-term goal of CPC, “to help private and public organizations use their human and capital resources in the best way to increase productivity”, still applies today, adapted to the current situation, to the priorities of the Ministry of Labor and Social Insurance and to the needs of the labour market and society.
