Eurostat is the statistical office of the European Union (EU), situated in Luxembourg.
Its task is to provide the EU with statistics at a European level that enable comparisons between countries and regions. Eurostat publishes official statistics of the EU which offer an objective portrayal of social and economic trends.
Statistics are available for EU Member states and their regions.
