PLAN International is a non-profit organisation aiming to protect children and initiate relief activities in war zones, providing and co-ordinating emergency assistance. Additionally, PLAN runs and supports long-term projects, largely in developing countries, in order to help children and their families and encourage societal progress.
Their work is based on a strong sense for social responsibility and transparency, giving it a well-defined status as a humanitarian aid agency known for its ethics, efficiency and commitment to all projects.
PLAN has recently set itself a new ambition, which is to transform the lives of 100 million girls over the next five years, aiming to engage all children, partners and collaborators to ensure its success. The ultimate goal of this project is to eliminate stereotypes and discrimination, ensuring an end the exclusion of girls and young people.
