On July 19th, DigiCo will be hosting the second episode of the Digital Inclusion event series: Back to Basics.
During this session, they will gather questions and concerns about AI literacy for trainers using a collaborative approach and a concept focused on learning how to learn. As Artificial Intelligence continues to evolve and expand, it becomes crucial to possess AI literacy in order to effectively use, communicate, and collaborate with AI tools in online, home, and workplace settings.
AI literacy is a complex issue because Artificial Intelligence is changing our digitalised society at a high pace and we are experiencing these changes daily. To achieve this, we invite our Community members working on adult education to share their perspectives as trainers and be the voice of their students on this topic. The event’s dynamics will be a roundtable in which all participants share their thoughts around these questions:
What are your students’ perceptions regarding Artificial Intelligence? (Any doubts, concerns, questions)
Have you started using Artificial Intelligence in any way during your training or do you have any ideas you would like to start implementing regarding this issue?
How should AI literacy be approached? (Which methodologies, formats, etc.)
This session will provide insights into the design of a co-created approach that includes both trainers’ and trainees’ perspectives regarding AI Literacy. After this episode, we will generate a FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) document about AI Literacy & Basic digital skills training with inputs from experts on the matter and share it with all participants. We are looking forward to hearing your insights!
