On 13 October 2021, Cedefop, the European Centre for the Development of Vocational Training, launched a new podcast series ‘Skillset and match’.
The podcast brings a diversity of perspectives on skills, vocational education and training, and the labour market from all around Europe. The series will host experts, policymakers, social partners, VET practitioners and learners, and others: with a new guest joining each next edition to dive deeper into certain topics.
The first episode of the podcast piloted with a special guest, the European Commissioner for Jobs and Social Rights Nicolas Schmit, responsible for EU policy in the field. You can now access the first episode on all major platforms:
The podcast aims to provide support and insight to Cedefop’s research and foster creative thinking on the challenges ahead, how to tackle them, and how to support the twin digital and green transitions, with a focus on the Digital Decade.
